I obtained my undergraduate degree in nursing from Clemson University's School of Nursing and my graduate degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix. I am certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and in Basic Life Support (BLS) While in nursing school I worked as a Patient Care Technician so that I could utilize the skills that I learned in nursing school in the clinical setting while providing patient care.
Experience
As a Registered Nurse with over 22 years of nursing experience and with 14 years of my nursing career being in nursing education, I know the challenges that nursing students face. I have a wide range of nursing education experience in the following areas: Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical/Surgical Nursing, and Critical Care. As a Nurse Educator, I want to share my knowledge with nursing students as a mentor/tutor to help guide them through nursing school
