I received a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Simmons College in Boston, MA, specializing in secondary mathematics. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Furman University.
Experience
I have recently worked full-time as a math teacher in the public schools for the past fifteen years. I also was a math tutor during the last school year in Algebra 2. I hold a valid teaching license in South Carolina, and also have AP Calculus AB certification. I want to be a tutor because I love math, and I enjoy sharing my tips with those who struggle with math. I try to explain it in terms that most anyone can understand.
